• "Lister" refers to users who post property listings
• "Renter" refers to users seeking rental properties
• "Content" refers to all information, data, text, images, and materials posted on the Platform

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users.

4. Property Listings

4.1 Lister Responsibilities

• You must have the legal right to list the property
• All information provided must be accurate and not misleading
• Property images must be genuine and representative of the actual property
• Pricing must be clearly stated with no hidden fees (except where disclosed)
• You must comply with all applicable housing and rental laws in Ghana

4.2 Prohibited Listings

The following are not permitted on our Platform:

• Properties that violate local housing laws or regulations
• Fraudulent or misleading listings
• Properties that discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
• Illegal or unsafe properties

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Platform for any unauthorized commercial purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our permission

6. Payments and Fees

6.1 Service Fees

RentRightGH may charge service fees for certain features, including premium listings, boosted visibility, and other promotional services. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you commit to any payment.

6.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your complete payment card information. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is accurate and up to date.

6.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Generally, service fees for listings and promotional features are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by RentRightGH or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

By posting content on the Platform, you grant RentRightGH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentRightGH and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Issues arising from rental transactions between users
• The accuracy or quality of property listings
• Disputes between listers and renters
• Unauthorized access to user accounts or data breaches

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We do not verify the accuracy of property listings or the identity of users.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentRightGH from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of third parties.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 User Disputes

RentRightGH is not responsible for disputes between users. We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably. If necessary, we may provide information to assist in dispute resolution but are not obligated to mediate or arbitrate.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
